This painting is based on a scene in which I participate (my feet are visible) in the context of Documenta15. On the one hand we have a context of decolonial discussion and on the other hand the apparent impossibility of establishing common criteria, and on the other hand we have the simplicity of this scene: the feet of different people, from different parts of the world, refreshing themselves in a communal water. The water with its properties of fluidity and freshness, the feet of each one, mine, those of another.
