Don't Forget Painting

Acrylic painting on vintage dictionary pages, sealed onto a large size canvas. No hanging hardware included. Stretched onto thick wooden frame. Nice old looking texture, rough and sealed with PVA. This is a street art inspired piece, as I live in London its almost impossible to miss the beautiful art on the streets and I though I would create something similar. I have recently started to paint more faces as I was mainly focusing on graffiti style paintings, most of the time including more words then actual images. This girl is called Kamila, She is telling you not to forget. A deep look is what I tryed to achieve, looking into your mind. My friends have said she looks like she is about to talk to you about something serious. I chose to do this style as it represents my life, The pages are yellowy colour due to aging and the style is rough and abstract and to me resembles the London streets in which I walk on a daily basis.
