About The Artwork
Is a work I painted by model, in open air, in the Summer of 2002, exhibited in multiple exhibitions. They were selling watermelons, and waiting for the owners, that were in a pub. Stoenesti is a village on the bank of the greatest river in Romania, Olt. The sun was setting and I was waiting for the train to go home in Craiova, but charming donkeys made me paint them.
