Serge Bereziac is a contemporary artist whose multi-faceted visual language is a direct reflection of a remarkably diverse and unfiltered life journey. Rather than following a singular academic path, his artistic style has evolved through a rich tapestry of odd jobs, shifting environments, and intense observation. In 1998, Bereziac entered an institute to study automotive mechanical engineering, but he quickly felt a profound emptiness in rigid technical precision and left university to immerse himself in real-world experience. This shift led him into the vibrant, chaotic reality of the 2000s. He sold groceries at street market stalls, worked behind a bar, took on side jobs at construction sites, and navigated the commercial world as an independent freelance sales agent. This continuous interaction with diverse social circles provided him with a profound psychological understanding of human nature. In quiet moments between these jobs and daily hustles, he constantly sketched, drew, and experimented with graphics on scrap pieces of cardboard. These early creative impulses soon broke out of his private sanctuary, leading to his first participations in art competitions and local exhibitions. Parallel to this growing public presence was a deep, decades-long exploration of photography. Transitioning from analog film to digital platforms, Bereziac mastered the art of composition, light, and capturing the perfect raw moment. Ultimately, all these experiences led to a definitive realization: for Bereziac, art is not a conventional job. It is not something with boundaries where you separate where you live from where you work. He is entirely consumed by this world; it is an inseparable part of his being, a state of existence where life and creation are one and the same. This eclectic background explains the exceptional diversity of his current artistic output. On Singulart, his work spans across multiple distinct series and genres—ranging from the raw, emotionally charged "Masks & Archetypes" to the vibrant, ironic neo-pop worlds of "The Last Cowboy" and "Mr. Fivebunny / Simulacrland," alongside atmospheric reflections of "French Life". Every series is an exploration of a new narrative, transforming decades of sharp observation, human encounters, and personal evolution into a rich, sprawling visual universe.
