"Where the Trees Touch the Sky" In a remote forest, far from the hustle and bustle of the world, trees rise so high they seem to touch the sky. These trees are no ordinary growths; they are witnesses of time and guardians of ancient secrets, touching the souls of wanderers and enlightening their he...

I was born in Wels in 1964. Even as a child I was very creative, but I started my professional career with an apprenticeship as a retail saleswoman. A second apprenticeship as a druggist followed. After completing my apprenticeship, I took on my first management role and now work in middle management. In my current role as regional manager, I look after 14 branches and well over 100 employees. Management work and responsibility for numbers shape my daily work. To compensate for this, I started painting again. Numerous seminars and painting schools followed. I continued my self-didactic training and dealt intensively with a wide variety of painting techniques in my own study. Not yet completely satisfied with my arts, often reaching my limits, I decided to start a distance learning painting alongside my job. So I now draw and paint in every free hour in order to successfully complete my studies in 2021. In addition to my studies, I continue to work on my personal painting technique and try to perfect and expand it. Acrylic paints fascinate me because I can combine them with so many materials. Among other things, with earth, mud, coffee, marble powder and acrylic sprays. I like the shades that I use. I love them a little dirty and shabby combined with a touch of glamor and luxury. A little mystical, melancholic, exploring the depths and yet again naive, playful and cheerful. I get my inspiration from nature and traveling. A picture emerges in my head, which I try to bring onto the canvas. I love structures made of sand and mud. My pictures consist of many layers. Each layer has its own story. Actually there are many pictures in one picture that reflect my daily moods and experiences. Are they memories of the last trip, memories of childhood, experiences with character traits that I am allowed to have in dealing with the many people I get to know professionally and privately. Memories of my dear animals that have enriched my life so much. Fears, humiliations, grief, disappointment, injustice, but above all happiness, joy, fun and satisfaction. It is, so to speak, my life that I process in my pictures. A blessed life for which I am infinitely grateful. In the end, the finished work remains. I think I can't help but paint all the time. For me, painting is just as important as eating and sleeping and I am very happy that people like my pictures.
