I'm obviously not a big fan of straight lines in urban landscapes. Even though most depict architecture which is of course comprised of perfectly straight lines and 90-degree angles, I like my skylines to have more life and freedom. Even after 9-11 when the downtown Manhattan skyline looked pretty flat without the Twin Towers, the city still kept the resilient life and excitement it's always had, even in a huge wave of emotion the city always adapts with the flow and stretches out like the bridge keeping connection to so much of the world.
