ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Dripping technique was used by Jackson Pollock after he moved to Springs. He began painting over big canvases laid out his home. Drip technique was finally most popular way of painting for him. He was well know as “Jack the Dripper”. After many months looking Pollock’s artwork I decided to create this piece of art in Summer 2010 considering Pollock’s way of painting. This paint over wood started combinig just few colors range, based on black,white and greys. Once first version was created, the color came out hiding an aye looking a nude woman. Born on August 10th, 1968, in Barcelona, I reside in the artistic enclave of Sitges, a village near Barcelona. The vibrant artistic community here constantly fuels my inspiration. My early works were influenced by the great masters such as Picasso, Miró, Antoni Tapies, Jackson Pollock, Motherwell, and Cy Twombly.
