ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Grown up with comics, I'm very familiar with them. So the day came I took some old comics from the seventies, teared them into pieces and assembled them on already used canvas to give them a new life as a painting/drawing surface. I often work with already available materials that I find in my surroundings.

born 1959 in Nettetal-Hinsbeck, Germany, grew up in Born (Brüggen), 1979 decision to work and live as a free artist, first study phases, lived then in Cologne, 1984/85 first exhibitions, went to Fulda for a apprenticeship as a solid wood carpenter, start working as a free artist, 1988 "Fuldaer Arbeiten" exhibition moving to Bremen and start a family, regular exhibitions since then, moving to Wilstedt (Tarmstedt) in Niedersachsen.
