Knowledge is human Ignorance is not human Factories are human Sweatshops are not human Profit is human Greed is not human Fashion is human Brainwashing is not human Safety is human Exploitation is not human The artwork focus about the concept of human and not-human in terms of people's condition within their working environment. Today's culture of greed has almost erased that thin line that separates what is human from dehumanization. There are dozen of developing countries where human rights are not respected, daily working hours are double than Western standards and salaries are just enough to survive hunger. What we wear everyday that makes us feel comfortable and "human", maybe it comes from a sweatshop in which there is no much safety or health security and workers' labor is exploited to the point in which there is not much of "human" left. ORIGINAL PAINTING "Everyday I search for art through little gems hidden behind the mysterious beauty of time and space. I know for sure that Art exist everywhere. Art is life that would manifest itself through a series of emotions that take us to a long, unique journey. My art do not want to represent, my art want to tell something about life, ordinary life. I hope. During the last 5 years, I've gone through a deep research about the human habitat. I was trying to catch beauty in the everyday environment, especially urban environment. The tragedy of the obvious and overseen suddenly became beauty to my eyes. Time has passed and I consider that experience done and gone, for now. Few months ago, I've started a new research for which I feel deep involved into the social commentary hidden behind history, fashion, politics, philosophy, literature, economy, media technology, popular culture, stereotypes, sport, money. I am trying to use my art as a tool to vandalize, to spoil the fake beauty, the fake symbols, the fake principles, the fake values of contemporary society. I use mixed media because that reflects the world I am living in: all differences are connected, creating a unique texture, the perfect wave." I don’t have a real artistic statement at this point of my career. To be honest, I make art to manifest my intellectual reaction to the daily reality. Each artwork is an independent statement about this contemporary culture, a magnificent mix of glossy ignorance and sophisticated forms of borderline fascist economy. I ask myself how to cope with this world. True artists should live dangerously because, while Art business is getting obese, artists on the other hand are barely surviving in it.
