Willow Wing is an emerging abstract painter and designer, living and working in Victoria, BC, Canada. Willow was raised surrounded by the supernatural forests and oceans of British Columbia, Canada. This has had a large influence on her art and has driven the intuitive interpretations she expresses on canvas. Her works are a balance of emotion and experience. She paints the seen and unseen, the known and unknown. Her work can be visceral, yet intentional. Willow has a background in teaching and exploring realism, abstract, and somatic experience. She has a BFVA from UVIC with a major in painting and drawing and a minor in curation and psychology. She also holds a post graduate teaching certification from UVIC. Willow believes that art is essential in our public and personal spaces and looks forward to sharing her works with you.
