As a child I was convinced that matter was made up of color, a simple more or less dry color. I was also convinced that the difference between film and cartoon was that films were drawn with ballpoint pens while cartoons were drawn with Giotto crayons. So when I drew I felt invested with divine power, a power that the nuns interpreted badly, taking away the drawings to which I dedicated myself "too much" and not enduring when I was persistent in explaining to them the meaning of my creations of the moment. Today I often carry the same misunderstandings with me but I don't care much more than then. Each painting you see in this collection is the synthesis of a very specific moment in my life, an impulse that becomes a gesture commanded by an imaginary of color, only more or less dry color. This is why each has a price.
