About The Artwork
Distressing pandemia spring with almost daily bad news and new isolation restrictions made me to seek hope in summer time. The early summer full of fresh, juicy and, at the same time, tender colours is the synonym of the healthy life for me as well as the expectations of something great. It seems to me that these fantastic colours were mixing under my brush by themselves and were laying on the canvas with my hand led by the hope of soon world's deliverance from covid 19. To protect colors, I covered the painting with two layers of a special art acrylic lacquer. That's made it very pleasant to see and to touch. This is how in august 2020 the "Early summer" was "born" by me, fortunately never touched by the virus up to now. And at the same period, the recovering decision, the vaccine was found. So my expectations came true. I hope, the spirit of the painting will transfer you the same mood of health, great expectations and will help you to realise your dreams. Born in the Novosibirsk region of Russia, I grew up in the cultural environment of the philologist's family, studying at music school and visiting art galleries and museums on my school holidays. Finally, I had a University degree in Romance and Germanic Philology myself. And I have always been interested in the world's art and architecture throughout my interpreter's career. Due to not only my professional skills to understand and describe different artworks' style up to the finest details, but to my personal interest as well. And I had tried different art techniques by myself during my leisure time before acrylic paints on canvas became my favorite choice I’ve stopped on. More I paint, more ideas come to my head, from abstract to, but not limited, the pop art style.
