Michele Cannavale He lives and works in Aversa (CE) Italy, where he was born on 4 June 1962. He began painting in 1980. His first solo exhibition was held in 1986. After thirty years of figurative painting, he arrives at a "vaguely" geometric abstract style inspired by fractals (irregular or fragmented shape at all scales) to build a compositional architecture in which to "do painting" as a Zen meditation and seeks its absolute value in those poetic, musical, dynamic and chromatic aspects that goes beyond visual perception.
