To expand on the quilting presentation, various images of East Texas, in the 1920's gave rise to the work. The photograph of the young boy, playing with this toy gun while his mother flees.....on the abandoned railroad track. Simple easy life and continues to exist today. the art at the top came from paintings that were located in Texas Post Offices.
