Théodora Bernardini was born in Poitiers and currently lives and works in Metz, France. A painter for over fifty years and a member of the Maison des Artistes in Paris since 1988, she discovered her calling at a very young age. At just ten years old, she began thirteen years of intensive artistic training in drawing and painting. Her early figurative works gradually evolved into a freer style where color is paramount. Inspired by Impressionist masters such as Gauguin, Van Gogh, Renoir, and Maurice Denis, she has developed a world defined by light and chromatic vibration. Her series—'Forests,' 'Rivers,' 'Oceans,' and her renowned 'Blues'—reflect a quest for intensity and sincerity.
