One of my favorite parks in New Haven is Edgerton Park. This estate was left to the city with the stipulation that the house be torn down but the old carriage house, stables and green house were left. I have done many paintings in this park. See more work at

I was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut in 1953. For the first six years of my life I lived in the Success Village housing project. My father became a Field Service Representative for Sikorsky Aircraft. At the age of 6 we were shipped to Key West, Florida where we lived for 3 years followed by 1 year in Providence Rhode Island, Gathaab, Greenland for 6 months, and Copenhagen, Denmark for 5 1/2 years. My high school education was completed in Stamford, Connecticut. I studied at Paier College of Art for 3 years where the basic foundations of design, color, advertising, illustration, and fine art were taught. I worked in the silkscreen industry and in a package design studio until my first son was born. I established a successful building maintenance company which I ran for several years. Branched into construction with a second company specializing in historic restorations. I worked on the restoration of The Hedges, one of the mansions in Newport Rhode Island. I've been working as a graphic artist and web master foe the last 20 years at Whelen Engineering. I began painting in earnest while living in Copenhagen and have managed to continue painting by stealing time where I could. I am now approaching retirement age and am looking forward to practicing my art on a full time basis.
