This work ;was recently on view at The National Institutes of Health Clinical Center Fine Art Program, Bethesda, MD, Feb.7 - May 1, 2021. "Effigy," Panel #3 (P.16.3), of a group called "Third Patterns." “Third Patterns” is named for a popular science term and used to describe the creation of a new structure. When two or more overlapping patterns in physical matter or space are combined or layered, a new one is created. A third pattern refers to the 'new life' structure' that is created. This acrylic ink painting is on a cradled birch panel. The inks are light-fast. The panel hangs from wire and D-rings on the back of the panel. It is ready to hang.
