El Constructivismo en Latino America Painting

There is a noble and rich constructivist tradition in Latin American art: Ismael Nery, Mira Shendel, Volpi, Xul Solar, Julio Mancebo, Samson Flexor, Ruben Valentin, Milton da Costa, among others, the list is extensive. Every artist builds, throughout his career, a repertoire of images and themes that are dear and elemental, which is why he returns to them at various times, re-elaborating, rethinking, recreating. Thus, the step towards the future of the work is planted in the artist's past. In my case I have been working with constructivist logic for some time, as in the series Estruturas Elementares do Cotidiano, created in 2013, this logic is part of my expressive repertoire.
