"El hombre de los dos mundos" Painting

My work is the result of exploring personal experiences that have moved me emotionally, whether through their traumatic or pleasurable nature. In terms of form, my approach is rooted in recovering the innocent gaze I had in childhood. I immerse myself in my memories to rediscover the colors, shapes, atmospheres, and sensations that captivated me as a child, and then translate those references into the present. I am inspired by the idea of building from the simplest elements toward greater complexity, and also in reverse. For this reason, construction through geometric forms strongly shapes my creative process. The graphic language of the 1980s, together with my professional experience as a graphic designer and illustrator, leaves a clear imprint on my pictorial work—and vice versa.
