These delicious Jerusalem artichokes were given to me by my neighbor during the confinement of COVID. Their unsightly appearance challenged me to paint them. Painted with oil and encaustics on paper, glued on wood . Like most of my works, this is made with encaustic. I really like this material for its warmth and texture.
