Enkindled Painting

All my paintings are from pure imagination, without any photographic reference to copy from. When I begin and imagine and implement on canvas, it is a total struggle between a lofty ideal and my own limitation to imagine further. Because there is nothing else there to run for. I should either hit the ideal or go home. This particular acclaimed painting happened during a nights session. Imagination, conception and executing it on canvas- were all done in a night's marathon. When I look back, it is again my struggle to create a beautiful forest for myself, where I can escape all alone and paint for rest of my life! Though I do have inspiration from places like Eastern Sierra & (Bishop in California in particular), this place is my own ideal, I am yet to find. If you spot such a place, let me know ! I will pack. NOTE: The artwork is done on a canvas panel. The frame is made only for reference & also protecting the surface while transporting to various shows internationally.The frame also protects the panel from bending stress. When you buy this work, it is recommended to get a new frame of your choice, matching the setup and your aesthetics. Numerous prints and limited editions with the original size have been sold. The artist has finally decided to sell the original itself. This is one among the series named "Hues of emotive vistas" exonerating an imaginary landscape setup in different color themes with certain mood attached. The series was displayed at various art shows around the world.
