ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This acrylic painting on paper is 19" x 15". It is sold in a display mat that is 27" x 23" which is about the size it will be when you mat and frame it. It is painted on 300lb Arches buff printmaking paper. I'm inspired by mid-century modern style and design, architecture and fabrics. Artist's like Calder and László Moholy-Nagy are influential to my work. As does atomic bark cloth and interiors from the 1950's. Transparency and texture play a role in this work.
