Eternity Painting

The Story As an artist, sometimes you make something and you hate it. Sometimes it’s… meh. And sometimes, it’s simply beautiful. This is one of those times. I’m not gonna lie to you – this marvelous piece was as an accident. I was simply trying a couple of new techniques; Negative Space, and Flip and Drag. I was also testing out the metallic paint for future use. On top of all that, I had run out of my other colors, so my only options were black, white, and gold! It was time to experiment. Now, if you’ve watched my video where I explain how I made Eternity, I also admit that I had laid the paint on too thick. This too was interesting to learn. I really had to force the paint to move against its will. What (I think) you’ll like the most about this piece is the solid pools of gold against the black and grey currents. Almost like streams of oil washing up on shores of golden sand. A very modern piece for a very important person (you, hopefully). About this Item This is a one of a kind piece. Acrylic/gloss enamel on Canvas. This is NOT a print or copy, it is unique. Signed and dated on the back by the artist. Sides are painted either a solid color that matches the piece, or continuing complimentary colors. INCLUDES CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY. Hanging This item ships AS IS. I don’t attach wire so that you can hang any direction you want. This piece can easily be hung with two small screws or nails, and can be hung from the outer frame or the cross bar (I have found this to be the more study way to do it).
