ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The Asian Miniature art inspired me to paint my own series of tiny miniatures with the bible and especially Adam and Eve in erotic poses in the Garden of Eden. Instead of the serpent tempting Eve to eat the apple and so tempt Adam into eating it, in my artwork the snake is part of Adam's body so in fact, it is not Eve who is at fault here. This is a watercolour was painted on Ivorine, a modern synthetic alternative to natural Ivory. The size of the miniature is 7.8 cm (h) x 5.8 cm (w) and is unframed as reflected in the price of the work of art.
