Excavation Painting

Riley Ashley Mackenzie (otherwise know as Unknwn Caller) is an abstract artist from Toronto, ON. The artists work is a visual representation of letting the chips fall where they may. Channeling the essence of water, space and sky. Mackenzie is self taught. Creating each piece is a practice of mindfulness, releasing expectations and embracing unforeseen and impulsive outcomes. A philosophy she applies everyday outside the studio. The artist frequently works with nontraditional application techniques. Layer upon layer varying fragments of space and time coverage, to develop a photo of energy and movement.
