Through an object called "sil," the symbolism of nature was created by a touchy texture through the "mattiere" expression of thread, the space of a square plane was transformed into an inner space of the mind, and through the "sil" expressed the relationship between life and death in a relationship of coexistence that cannot be separated.

I worked as a towel print designer for seven years, developing a keen sense for color and pattern. After getting married and devoting myself to raising a family, I began painting in 2004 as a way to express the emotions that arose during this new phase of life. Facing and visualizing the multitude of emotions within me has brought me a deep sense of comfort and peace. Thread, for me, is more than just a material—it is a medium through which I weave memories and emotions. I create various geometric forms and textures by arranging, cutting, and layering thread on canvas. At times, I shape the thread into images of mountains or trees, drawing inspiration from nature. These forms are a recollection and reconstruction of emotional memories, and through them, I attempt to illuminate a hopeful tomorrow filled with light.
