About The Artwork
Recently I have begun to include text in my linear cubist works. I love mechanical drawing, architectural plans and cubism as a way to conceive of space. The multi faceted planes break the picture plane down into monochromatic color schemes while also giving a geometric atmosphere. The text FISH references nature while it swims in an industrial like space. This relationship informs my practice continuously.
