Forever Beautiful 80x80cm - round canvas. Text of this painting from my Instagram post: I wanted to do something beautiful. For the apparent simple reason that it is beautiful. The beautiful makes me feel good, fills me with emotion and inspiration. I wanted to do something full of life. Because sometimes I need to remember what a grace it is to be alive, and how good it is to live. And I wanted to imagine what it would be like if something, or rather someone - so beautiful and full of life, were able to shine forever, filling every single space in me, just as I would too. I want to be eternally curious about what I consider beautiful, like the first time we meet someone who, even without knowing why, knows he is special. If life is not, among so many other things, to appreciate the beauty of its grace, encounters and moments, I really don't know what it is about. Being realistic all the time doesn't make me happy, so I allow myself to dream about these things from time to time. May it be forever beautiful, if only in my memory. If possible, forever. Eric
