ABOUT THE ARTWORK

TITLE: Factory Glass MEDIUM: acrylic on stretched canvas SIZE: 16x20 inches DETAILS: Painting in a semi-impressionist style, this is an old abandoned factory where light bulbs used to be made before they closed up and went overseas. I love the colors of the aging blue glass. ALL PURCHASES COME WITH COMPLEMENTARY ART AND DISCOUNTS FOR FUTURE PURCHASES. ABOUT THE ARTIST Susan Barackman (ME) began drawing horses at age 4 on the back of her father's blueprints. School work often carried horsy scribbles in the margins. At the age of 12 she went door to door selling pencil drawings for just 25 cents each. Susan works in pencil, acrylic and watercolor. She has been married to husband, Stephen since 1975. Her paintings hang in corporate offices of Cactus Saddlery and Baylor Hospital Hotel and her work has won awards on both the local and national levels. After retirement from 27 years in the educational field, Susan has started a whole new sideline of designing custom saddle stands. Her many cats are often a big help in the studio. Her horses are not allowed in studio.
