ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Fallen Snow is part of the Fairytale series of neoclassical paintings. My intent was to show a beautiful reclining woman, as as the viewer looked longer upon the piece, noticed the little details that tie it into the story. There are three blood drops upon the pillow embroidered with the white flower, the headboard carved with the dwarves, the symbolic way that the window leaves a shadow upon her body - indicating that she is "locked in" her dream state....
