My father was born and raised on a farm and we would go to NY State to visit relatives and friends that raised cows, goats etc. I loved going to the country because I grew up in the NJ burbs and to me it was like going to paradise. The fresh smell of the country side and having the freshest veggies ...

Born and raised in northern New Jersey, Yeah, that’s right…,Jersey! Donna is the epitome of the truly creative “Jersey Girl”. As you know, “Jersey Girls” have a reputation for being bold, brassy and “in your face” with their thoughts. But, despite the “Jersey Girl” moniker so often unjustly bestowed upon the women of her home state, Donna is a person of passion, compassion, sensitivity, vulnerability and most of all, creativity. A reach to her palette will find an assemblage of vibrant colors and swath across her canvases quickly, and keeping pace with her spirited imagination as her universes infold before her. True, on might say that her style reflects the brilliance of the sparkling lights of Jersey shore amusement rides, or that she is drawn into the many life experiences she has encountered in her time and, maybe so. However, Donna’s dabbling’s in paint and her distinctive one-of-a-kind sculptures, reflect the ever fertile mind of this artist. For the artist: You will notice that some of the paintings are a few years old, that is because I said I was never going to sell my work. Well guess what? I have so many paintings and sculptures that I am having trouble walking in my studio. My family don't have any empty walls left in their homes and told me it's about time the world gets to see my work. I personally put my heart and soul into every panting and sculpture I do and find it hard not to be able to see my work again. But, I keep painting and need to buy more canvas and paints, so I guess now is the time to start selling my new and older pieces. When you buy artwork from me you are also getting a piece of my heart. Hope each piece brings happiness into your home. With years of study at Ridgewood School of Art and Design and Pratt Institute, Donna also extends her talents as a graphic art director, Computer illustrator and fine art instructor.
