Feathers Four Painting

I just LOVE being creative, the process feeds my soul. I really get into a state of “all consuming” mind, body, and spirit, as I experiment and toil with illusions, colors, and textures. My process is expressive art through meditation and deep soul exploration. I will sit and play with the paints for hours, watching how they lay up on each other, creating waves and washes, showing through the layers of light. I am passionate about my environment. I am the daughter of a meteorologist, and I live on the beach in Florida, so storms seem to find their way into almost every painting that I create. The sea and sky are primary subjects in my art. These four panels came out of the inspiration that I receive on my daily beach walks. The sea birds on the Gulf of Mexico leave behind many of their fine feathers. I pick them up and use them as paint brushes in my acrylic art and decorate my home with my fond memories of my meditative walks. Now you can join me by taking my feathers home with you. Peace!
