ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I used to dance with this wonderful young black man in San Francisco. I was fourty with 2 teenagers, and a 8 year old. I had children really young. As part of my spirit paintings, I wanted to paint Byrons energy. Not his face, but his body force. I love this painting, it just all came together very easily. I love the human body, energy, life. We'd go out to the clubs in San Francisco and dance all night. He was very strong and could make look like i was a really good dancer. He died ten years ago from AIds. I will always remember him like this.
