born in boston lincolnshire uk , ive been drawing & painting for about 30 years i started when i attended secondary school in lincolnshire inspiration came from an interest in art at school and drawing / painting local interests and recieving recognition for my efforts , having gained GCSE in art & design my interest in art continued and although mostly self taught , i like to use good detail to give authenticity and give atmosphere to the work i am portraying from using watercolours i started to experiment with oil paints so i used my interest in motorsport to capture this in art , from the bygone era of classic cars and racing of the fifties & sixtes through the eightes when my days of growing up motorsport had a thrill and atmosphere unlikely to be repeated to the high tech present day of racing i love to put the realism to my art , having sold some art locally and in the uk a few to international buyers , i recently became a member of the guild of motorsport artists , this is some of my recent art works so please enjoy viewing
