Before turning to painting, I spent some time writing. Beneath a Summer Moon, written in collaboration with J. Child, was published by Silhouette Romance in 1986. A few years later, I translated two books on physics by Dr. Rémy Lestienne from French into English. The Children of Time; Causality, Entropy, Becoming, 1995, and, in 1997, The Creative Power of Chance, both published by the University of Illinois Press. In 1999, when a studio came open at the Jackson Art Center, I took up a paintbrush full time, and have not looked back...
