Fiery Red Canna Lillies at the Villa Melzi Painting

I am a British artist and have been painting / exhibiting nationally and internationally for more than forty years, most of which have been with the Portal Gallery in London, ( now known as Portal Painters) a leading exponent in Idiosyncratic art. Having always had an interest in nature and the variations of landscape, it would be correct to assume that I am driven by these elements to a high degree in my painting. My link with Idiosyncratic art however, might also imply that I am also inspired by a great number of other things like music, art, dance, spiritualism, dreams, everyday incidents and so on. So my paintings which are often about actual or imagined places, are often about many other incidentals which form into compositions and the unique self rather than simply a trend or fashion.
