In my creation, I've infused a passionate interplay of light and form to capture a moment suspended between tranquility and movement. Using acrylics' versatility, I layered colors in expressive strokes, evoking emotional depth. This artwork, rooted in expressionism with touches of impressionism, see...

Kamila Sitak is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice explores the relationship between movement emotion and perception. Working across painting spatial design and curatorial activity she treats art as an integral part of life. Movement especially the language of dance forms the foundation of her visual expression. Her paintings arise from the need to capture fleeting emotional states and moments connected to the body in motion. She describes her work as an emotional diary where gesture rhythm and stillness exist together. She works mainly with acrylic on canvas creating textured surfaces and bold compositions that move between figuration and abstraction. Sitak has exhibited internationally since 2007 with shows in Poland Germany and the United States. Her works are held in private collections across Europe the United States Asia and the Middle East. Since 2008 she has worked with sculptor Jerzy Kedziora on exhibitions of balancing sculptures in Poland and the United Kingdom and this experience continues to influence her exploration of balance tension and suspension in painting. She studied interior and exhibition design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw and Warsaw and completed postgraduate studies in art management as well as an MBA. She also received a scholarship in the Golden Kentaur European competition at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. Her artistic language is shaped by a continuing interest in transformation equilibrium and the relationship between freedom and limitation. This sensitivity is connected to her experience as a member of the Polish National Dressage Team where discipline control and harmony of movement remain an important influence. Her paintings create space for layered interpretation reflecting both intensity and limitation of experience and inviting a quiet and personal response.
