About The Artwork
My fascination with the intricate world of coral reefs and the plethora of life they support inspired this piece. The flatworm, a lesser-known inhabitant of these vibrant ecosystems, became the focal point of this artwork. Using acrylic paint and a blend of mixed media, I employed a layered approach to convey the depth and texture of the coral reef. Through brushwork, scraping, and splattering techniques, I aimed to bring to life the delicate yet resilient nature of the flatworm and its surroundings. With "Flatworm in the Coral Reef," I intend to draw viewers into the coral reef's hidden beauty.
