David Roman is an Armenian-American artist and the author of the Eternal Horizon book series. Art has been a part of his life since childhood, offering an imaginative escape and a powerful form of self-expression. At the age of ten, his mother enrolled him in art school, nurturing a passion that would later evolve into a serious creative pursuit. Although David took only a few art classes after immigrating to the United States, he eventually minored in Fine Arts at the University of North Florida, where he deepened his understanding of technique and visual storytelling. However, it wasn’t until 2011—at the age of 30—that he experienced his personal artistic renaissance. David primarily works with acrylics and oils but expanded into digital painting in 2014. In recent years, he has also begun exploring colored pencils and continues to experiment with new mediums. His practice is rooted in curiosity and versatility, often shifting between traditional and digital approaches to bring his visions to life. Whether working with charcoal, brushes, or a stylus, David sees art as a never-ending journey—one that allows him to seamlessly move between standalone pieces and illustrations connected to his literary world.
