I am Warda Rana an American, Pakistani Contemporary Artist based in Doha, Qatar. I was born in Kuwait and brought up partially in the USA. My love for art and fashion has been evident since a young age. It started as a passionate hobby which lead to a profession. I have longed for something without rules and limitations. Therefore, I chose to paint and create art which is absolutely limitless and has no boundaries. It gives me utmost freedom to express my inner emotions and show the viewers how I see the world around me. I have a minimalistic approach to art and design and I love the spontaneous expression of a simple black bold line. My work is inspired by, Femininity, Surrealism, Yearly Travels and experiences of life are manifested in my work which are beyond limitations. The work is hand painted in black ink and acrylics which reflects on beauty/fashion illustrations, spirituality, emotions and nature. I believe simplicity is power and less is always more. The Minimalistic Modern Style of Art is present in every artwork, leaving it to the viewers to depict as it takes many forms and shapes. My paintings sometimes consist of mixed media and colors depending of my intuitive feel towards it. The curiosity that is present in every person will definitely make them tend to find out about everything they see and make them question its existence .For me the viewer is an artist where the artist learns from the viewers depiction which creates a learning curve for both ends.
