About The Artwork

About my work: Give me the ocean give me the sea. Staring in the water gives tranquillity. Keep it light keep it simple (somethimes hard to do). One time it is more green one time it is more blue. It is always a balancing act. Why is it so hard to let him go. Why can't we be lovers, I felt so deep, was it not reversed? I love life, hate life, love life. Sometimes emotions are hard to bear. So keep it light, laugh and cry. That is a great experience. When I look it up if I write it right this poem came up. So their wan limbs no more might come between The moon and the moon's reflex in the night, Nor blot with floating shades the solar light. ... Clear and bright it should be ever, Flowing like a crystal river; Bright as light, and clear as wind: Clear as summer ... And yet, though its voice be so clear and full, You would never hear it—your ears are so dull; So keep where you are: you are foul with Sun .. The moon and the moon's reflex in the night, Nor blot with floating shades the solar light. ... though its voice be so clear and full, You would never hear it—your ears are so dull; So keep ... We laugh, we cry, we are born, we die, Who will riddle me the how and the why? Blackwood's Magazine: Volume 31 1 januari 1832 W. Blackwood

Tiny's paintings depict defining moments in her life, a central theme she has termed, 'Patterns of Life'. The patterns of life tell a story of the different processes and experiences that are so fundamental to human beings. Her inspiration comes from nature, her immediate surroundings and the stories she hears or reads. Her work is abstract figurative, and uses cheerful colours to express her creativity and enthusiasm. She often works with an art scraper, which she uses to scrape sand and paint onto her canvases. Tiny's work is described as uplifting, colourful and dynamic by her collectors She wants her paintings to create a moment where the thinking process stops and the intuition takes over.
