About The Artwork
Flora is an experiment in textures, layering recycled paper over wood, chunky, cracking, fluorescent spray paint and a delicately painted portrait on top. Hidden in the background are her ringlets, painted in black on black. This piece is full of detail and surprises and can hold your attention for ages; you'll always be finding new things you haven't noticed before (I still do, and I painted it)!
