Painting: Oil on Canvas.
“Soft colors, clearness and refined esthetics define the painter’s still lifes. Their characteristic feature is a noble retained coloring, a refined opposition of form and volume, and the classic completeness is united here with the refined easiness of the traditional oil painting. In contrast, the still lifes with flowers become a reason for creating picturesque groups. As a matter of fact flowers in these still lifes are not as interesting as the perception of the smack and completeness of the harmony of flowers, where every touch of the brush in itself is not so affective, but works on the impression made by the composition.”
