La manera en que decido habitar el mundo es en "Estado Primavera", pues soy parte y necesario contador de la realidad natural que me rodea, y para reivindicar mi hueco en la existencia; observo, duermo, imagino e interpreto. Como artista solo me queda esperar que cada obra surja en su momento, construida al ritmo de su tiempo y adaptándose al espacio que la soporta. Como ente abstracto por naturaleza, la pintura se aía con la materia... brota, crece y te involucra. Lejos de ser un acto pensado, surge por generación espontánea e invade mansamente allá donde se posa. Cada obra rezuma la esencia que la aquilata y se empaña con la atmósfera que emana. Cada forma se compone con la luz con la que explota y perdura dejando secuelas en la retina y estelas en la memoria. Cada representación es una trama, un mensaje críptico que nos ignora y nos reclama. Cada pieza encierra la sabiduría que transciende a la existencia. Cada momento de luz fue disfrute o dolo y cada noche vivida tuvo su luna y su horizonte de esperanza.

I was born in Malaga, Spain, in 1961. Since 1996 I live and work in Barcelona. Painting for me has always been my learning tool, through painting I´ve connected with the background knowledge. For a long time, I´ve extrapolated what emerges from painting itself to grasp life events. In turn, phenomenology was the inspiration motif for what it would later come in return. New methods and new understanding open doors to new processes, thus providing feedback. I´ve put my capacity to analyse to the duty of deciphering, whatever those images were telling me. They were always beyond my expectations and the things they hid, always much more deeper than I expected. My philosophical grounding is based on that idea. Attention: I´ve always thought this was the true fact. Now I´m evaluating it because I sense I´m getting closer to another way of understanding and explaining this artistic phenomenon.
