"as the nude garden fairy gazes into her blue amaryllis, the pollen takes her on natures journey" This painting was inspired by a bouquet of blue amaryllis flowers on my art table, the pollen stained the linen cloth as a nude model stood with a distracted melancholic look on her face. Maybe from sadness, maybe from too much red wine. This painting was painted from life using acrylics and metalic silver on gessoed canvas. This painting is sold un-stretched, without wood stretcher bars, rolled and shipped. The painting will need to be re-stretched and framed by a professional framer, or can be framed flat, matted under glass.
