"Self-regeneration formula" is an image of concentrated vital energy, reflecting the living matter’s ability to constantly renew. Some elements of the composition evoke allusions to the essence of femininity, which consists in preserving and reproducing life, despite any complexity of existence, in accordance with the natural program inherent in a woman.

As well as many artists I have been drawing since my childhood but my way to the art was not straight. First, I have graduated from the Civil Engineering Faculty and worked as an engineer some years, but I felt I wasn't doing my thing. Then I have graduated from the Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named Ilya Repin (History and Theory of Art Department) in 1989. I wrote art criticism articles, plunged deeper into the contemporary art world and the desire to paint didn't leave me and pursued ever more insistently in my dreams. And I began... I invent new tools, new ways of painting to convey the continuous and volatile substance of life, its energy. From series to series, the artistic process is changing and specific techniques are getting developed to convey artistic thoughts.
