About The Artwork
I have painted the four seasons, Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn of Richmond Park also showing the deer, which are living there, in their herds. The park is beautiful and changes with the different seasons. I have painted the park in different ways. I particularly like to paint the Deer and the way the male Stag protects his females in the herd. I have tried to include the deer in each painting. The park itself is very large with it's Oak trees dominating the views. There are several ponds and one of interest is in the Isabella Plantation. I have also drawn and painted this. These four small oil paintings are mounted in a contemporary way as one, floating on a white background and has a black wooden frame surrounding them. It is strung and ready to hang.

My childhood was spent in Sussex where I developed a love of the rolling hills and country side. After Art college I moved to London where I continued painting. I discovered pastel painting a few years ago which I love for its brilliant pure colours. I found the light and rich colours of the South of France could be caught using using this medium. After visiting New York, where I had an exhibition , I was very interested in the awesome buildings and am currently painting a series of cityscapes of New York and London.Patricia is influenced by the French Impressionists.Working in oils and pastels, producing still lifes, landscapes and nudes of scenes that range from Twickenham to St.Tropez, Patricia's resulting work reflects the vibrant colours and brilliant light of the South of France.Patricia was recently made a member of the Society of Women Artists.
