This painting is the fourth in my Remnants/ Fragments series. I am focused here on what we hold on to after an event; suggestions of memories , or fragments of lives. It is partly about what remains and partly about the fact that we never see or remember everything; only fragments and portions are available to us.This painting continues a transition from more literal referenced focus of the previous series to more abstract concerns.
