ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Pop art portrait of Queen frontman and rock and roll icon, Freddie Mercury. As with all my pieces, my aim is for as little brush mark texture on the canvas as possible. I don't use software to produce my initial design, each painting is drawn by hand from the source photo. For me this gives the finished painting a much smoother, and more unique look. This painting is 45cm x 60cm, acrylic on stretched canvas and would look fantastic in any kind of frame – The more flamboyant the better. If you don't want to frame it, the sides are painted black ready to hang direct on the wall.

Jamie is a British artist, living in Paraguay, South America. He visited the country in 2004 for just two months to brighten up a children's home with some murals and teach the kids drumming. However, he fell in love with Paraguay, moved there, got married there, and has been there ever since. He continues to brighten walls in schools, children’s homes and hospitals across the country with his art.
