The world of miniature paintings is perhaps the most fascinating in Rajasthan, India, with exclusive and distinctive schools of painting - Mewar, Marwar, Bundi-Kota and Amber-Jaipur. Highly talented and skilled artists produce the ostentatious paintings on paper as well as on ivory panels, wooden tablets, leather, marble and fabric. Multi-painting sets of Ramayana, Gita-Govinda, Sur- Sagar, Arsh Ramayana, Rasikapriya etco, were prepared in an unmistakably bold, colorful and well defined styles. A series of portraits, sets of Ragamala paintings, divinities and scenes of folk legends are also produced. All miniature paintings present in this collection are very much original and not copied from any where.few of the earlier paintings are done during my class work when I joined my Master in fine arts.Later works are done in a period of time at my own pace. This art work is not framed so has almost no weight.If you tell me required size and the place (where you want to display)I can frame it accordingly or you can do it on your own.It is the beauty of miniature that it can be used with its original size or can be mounted on a big silk board or in the center of a big beautiful carved frame.
